The Venezuela 20 bolivares Soberano banknote from 2018 is part of the countrys new currency called the bolivar soberano or the sovereign bolivar. Its vertical-oriented obverse side features Venezuelan philosopher Simon Rodrigues.
The back of the note displays a jaguar and the Waraira Repano National Park which is known as the lungs of the city. The Coat of Arms is also visible on the reverse of the note. The Venezuela 20 bolivares soberano has a holographic windowed security thread with demetallized BCV. In addition, it has Simon Bolivar and electrotype BCV watermark. This 156 x 69 mm paper banknote bears the signatures of Lobo and Hernandez.
